“Home, where is it? Where was it? What does it really mean?”
Over the past three years, Ron Liberti lost both his parents. In addition to the loss, his childhood home was sold and in the aftermath found himself contemplating the many questions surrounding what “Home” is.
Place, memory, person, Liberti has reflected upon this tag of home, working on a mixture of pieces ranging from prints, paintings and mixed media. The resulting work not a definitive answer of what can be defined but what is remembered, felt and revealed. Finding solace in creation of the works remembering wonderful memories, which came rushing back while lamenting on his family and the little ranch home on Mount Lane in Toms River, NJ.
Opening June 16, from 6-9PM, Liberti will be joined by musical guest and longtime friend to Liberti’s opening receptions Bill Sugarfix and the Early Girls.
